The Perfect EndingWalking down the hallway is the girl that turns heads. There’s one in every school, or work place; she is walking down every street in every city. She’s the girl everyone wants to be, or wants to be with, just so they can say they have some association with her. Head to toe, she’s seemingly perfect. She has straight, long, flowing, blonde hair with natural, glowing, gold highlights. Ice blue eyes that you can see yourself in, accented with just the right amount of makeup. The Seasons changeThere he stands, tall and confident in the midst of such a glorious transition of summer to autumn. The colors of auburn and chestnut make him appear so prestigious. Once an emerald shade, he now only emerges as a fleshy, skin tint. The home to so many creatures and the food for others; he has such an important job. His task is to protect, feed, shade and help me breathe; I couldn’t be more thankful. It is amazing to see him change from the tree I used to lie under for shade in the hot summer days, to one that will now produce my fruit for which I use to make autumn pies. What a beautiful metamorphosis to witness.The Seasons change

last night I made a man out of pillows and forgotten fragments of clothes we’d pushed into my drawers. I held my pillow-man’s hand and made sure he wasn’t too warm because it is summer; I’m on the second floor; and that was always your biggest complaint.
